Happy 125th Birthday to The Boston Home !
L-R: Boston City Councilor Maureen Feeney,
Livingston Taylor, Marva Serotkin, Arthur
Hindman, Holly Burnes, and Liz Walker share a
laugh at TBH’s 125th Anniversary Gala and Concert.

On Thursday, November 9, The Boston Home's Campaign for Care
kicked off on a high note with our first ever gala fund-raising
concert to mark our 125th anniversary.
The event featured TV personality and minister Liz Walker
and folk singing icon Livingston Taylor. Katani, a featured
singer for The Boston Pops, joined the celebration with her talented friends.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who supported us and helped us celebrate !
Our Campaign for Care has raised over $136,000 toward our goal of $250,000 !
The Boston Home has been providing outstanding care for 125 years.
Today, while there is national focus on resources for cure and treatment,
funds are very limited for care. But our residents and outpatients with
Multiple Sclerosis and other advanced neurological diseases continue to
require specialized, highly skilled residential care.
Funds raised from our Campaign for Care will ensure that our residents
- and those beyond our walls - will be able to count on The Boston Home's
standard-setting care. To meet their needs, we will promote independence
through assistive technology, and meet deeper needs through our Wellness
and Spirituality program.
We will also address the needs of those on our growing waiting list and
those living in other settings. Through our Institute and Community Services,
we will share knowledge with other healthcare professionals, refine our standards,
and provide outpatient services with B.Fit!
